Private Practice Policy

Purpose of This Policy

This policy outlines how Axis Arthritis & Rheumatology Care (also referred to as AARC) provides virtual clinical guidance and how care interactions are structured within a private practice model.

Scope of Care

  • AARC provides virtual clinical guidance, symptom review, education, and structured next-step planning
  • Care is not a replacement for in-person evaluation, emergency care, lab testing, imaging, or physical procedures
  • Services focus on clarity, pattern-based symptom review, report interpretation, and care direction

Nature of Consultations

  • Consultations are scheduled, private, and focused on understanding symptom patterns
  • Sessions prioritize clinical reasoning, patient history, and structured guidance
  • No medical claims or guarantees are made regarding diagnosis, outcomes, or timelines

Limitations of Virtual Care

AARC does not provide:

  • Emergency medical services
  • Prescriptions without appropriate clinical context
  • Lab testing, imaging, or physical examinations
  • Procedure-based care or infusion therapies
  • Insurance coverage determination or claims processing advice

Responsibility of the Patient

Patients are encouraged to:

  • Share accurate health history and relevant medical reports
  • Seek immediate in-person care for urgent or worsening symptoms
