Why Direct Care

Because timely access matters in rheumatology.

Direct Specialty care removes all the middlemen between the patient and the physician.

We promise reduced wait times to see a rheumatologist, which at this time is anywhere between 4 to 6 months in most situations.

Early diagnosis and initiation of treatment not only improve the symptoms but also hugely improve quality of life, long term outcomes and prevent joint damage.

The visits are not rushed as in traditional care; the physician has adequate time to counsel the patient and the patient can ask all questions and get as much clarity as possible on their health issues. We are trying to bring the good old days back!

  • Reduced waiting time for specialist access
  • Direct communication with your rheumatologist
  • Continuity of care and close follow-up
  • Convenient virtual consultations

Virtual, rapid-access rheumatology care and transparent pricing

Unhurried and patient-focused consultations

Emphasis on understanding, not just prescribing

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have been under Dr. Danve’s care for several years and have consistently found him to be thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in understanding what is going on with my health. This past summer, I experienced a complicated and confusing health issue, and Dr. Danve went above and beyond in his care. Even while on vacation, he took the time to check in with me daily, arranged for me to meet with members of his team in his absence, and reassured me that I was never a burden. It was clear that he was actively thinking about my case and working to resolve what was happening. His dedication and compassion were incredibly reassuring during an extremely stressful time, and I am deeply grateful for the care he provided. The health issue was ultimately resolved thanks to his persistence and attention. I would highly recommend Dr. Danve to anyone seeking a kind, knowledgeable, brilliant, and thoughtful rheumatologist who truly cares about — and for — his patients.

Dr. Danve is an amazing rheumatologist. He is so knowledgeable about my condition and has diagnosed other conditions that I have had, plus he has referred me to other specialists for follow up. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. My telemed appointment with Dr. Danve went well. He was comfortable with technology. Whenever I had difficulty understanding his accent or a medical term, he adeptly used the texting feature. Throughout, he listened and took the time to understand me and explain medical possibilities as a new patient.
